Dr. Takahashi
About Dr. Takahashi
Jeffrey Takahashi, M.D. is a board certified, fellowship trained vascular and interventional radiologist. He has more than 16 years of experience in catheter-based interventions in venous and arterial diseases.
Dr. Takahashi graduated cum laude from Georgetown Medical School in Washington D.C.
in 1989. He completed his Internal Medicine internship and Radiology residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, MA in 1994. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1995. He has since been on staff at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, CT where he serves as the chief of the Vascular and Interventional Radiology section. He is also director of the Vascular Laboratory.
His current memberships include the American Medical Association (AMA), American College of Phlebology (ACP), Society of Vascular Surgery (SVS), and the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR).
Dr. Takahashi has devoted much of his practice to treating venous disorders, including spider veins, varicose veins, thromboembolic disease, and venous ulcers. Dr. Takahashi conducts and interprets the initial Doppler ultrasound evaluation of your legs himself and will see you personally at all follow-up visits.
